Oh Kate, that precious picture of mommy and dima has tears pouring down my face šŸ™‚ Congratulations…God is faithful!

  7. Honestly Kate (and Steve) I just was not prepared for how very precious your little D is! My heart flew into my stomach when this page first opened to the photo of you and of him, and especially him (I already knew what an attractive couple you are from previous pictures.) This little boy will snatch hearts wherever he goes. I can absolutely guarantee it. He will fit in with your family so very well. His cousins and etc. are so similar to him in appearance. God definitely did this number! To God be the Glory Forever! You are embarking on a journey of the heart, well actually you already embarked and now you are leaving the harbor, bay area to sail on the waters. Awesome. Thank you, thank you thank you.

Kate: He is so adorable. I am so happy and proud of you. God has led you to a new charter of your life and he will bless you for being faithful in your waiting; even threw the tough times you wanted to give up, he allowed you to feel all those emotions and provided you with the victory at the end. God Bless you, Steve and Dima. I am very excited to see him around The Chapel. God Bless you!

Overjoyed!!!!!! Praying for your flight – all aspects of it. I know what it’s like to fly with a toddler – Micah was 1 1/2 when we flew to the Philippines so I definitely know how to pray. Just a bit of wisdom, Katie – our children pick up on our fears. Praying for peace. See you on Thursday – I wouldn’t miss seeing the smiles on your faces when you are finally home. Excited to see your parents’ faces, too, when they see their grandson!

He is soooo handsome! He really does look like the two of you – no one will ever believe he is not your bio child! I can’t believe his little face – it is so sweet! And walking next to you like that, our daughter would have been half-way to China if we didn’t hold on to her all the time. He must be a pretty calm little guy! Congratulations – he could not be any cuter!

he is precious, beautiful and looks like he was born from you too…so happy for you!

Oh my goodness!!! He’s cuter than I imagined! What a precious angel. I’m personally glad that Pskov has such beautiful, healthy children. What a cutie pie. The long wait is finally over for you…..

He is adorable! My daughter (17 months) and I really enjoyed the videos you posted. Safe travels on the way home. I’ve never traveled that far so I can’t claim to understand what it is like.

When we flew with our daughter (then 11 months) we gave her water – in a bottle even though she used sippy’s – to suck on during takeoff and landing. Might try to find something for him to suck on (ring pop?) to help the ears šŸ™‚ That’s the one thing I always forget about until I’m in my seat ready for takeoff!

Two curiosity questions: how old (months) is Mr. adorable (Dima, that is) and is Dima short for Dmitri (or where does it come from)?

Have a wonderful week and don’t forget to relax!

Wishing you an uneventful trip home, but at least you know you are almost to the finish line. Our daughter was HORRIBLE on the plane rides home, and we tried everything to make it better. She was just out of her mind the entire time, starting in the car from Moscow to the airport, including London, and then the long way over the Atlantic. After a while, you just realize you have to give it to God, and don’t be embarrassed about it. You will never be so happy to see your own house, I can tell you that! We’ll be praying for peace – šŸ™‚
